Oulu Automotive Roast

Oulu Automotive Roast is a short, intense interview with an industry expert. The event is organized virtually in Microsoft Teams and takes approximately 40 minutes.

The roasted person, a roastee, will be asked tough questions about electrics cars, autonomous cars and the new emerging business models. The questions might be hard, but the atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and entertaining. Oulu Automotive Roast is an online event concept developed by Oulu Automotive Cluster.

We are a fast growing ecosystem of SMEs, corporations and research organisations developing solutions for automotive industry. We focus on three topics: electric cars, autonomous cars and new business models. www.automotive.oulu.com

Roastees are industry experts presenting OEMs, Tier1 companies, startups, academia or think thanks. They usually have worked for automotive industry more than 10 years and are interested in knowledge sharing  and dialogue with their peers. They participate the roast as an individual, i.e. their views don’t need to represent those of their current employers.

Oulu Automotive Roast is held in English.

Approximately 40 minutes: 20min roast by the moderator and 20min roast from the audience.
